Exploring the Fjallabak Nature Reserve around Landmannalaugar and Laki, where the landscape has been formed by volcanic activity, is the landscape photographer’s dream come true. The area is known for beautiful mountains, glaciers and old volcanic craters, some with lakes at their bottom and colorful rock formations. The moss growing in the area shows some bright green colors, especially after a good rain shower which makes a great contrast with the black sand. On two nights of the tour the group will sit down to discuss the photos of the participants and we give input, good advice and tuition in photography.
On the last day we travel back from the highlands to the Golden circle, visiting Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir geothermal area and the Thingvellir National park on our way to Reykjavik.
